THIS Sunday, June 21st, Make Music Day takes over the streets of Berkeley and our World Cup Stage on the Downtown Berkeley BART Plaza brings it all together: live performances inspired by sounds and cultures of the world. Come be a part of this special day where 50 (and counting) FREE performances are happening City wide. A day where the world’s love of sport and music collide. Alfredo Romero - leader of local Bay Area faves Groupo Mero will start off the day to play and sing from their catalog of Tex Mex Latin jazz, hip-hop and pop originals.

We are very excited to have 5 piece FLORATURA join us to play their “heart centered soul”. They have played with bands like The California Honeydrops, SAY SHE SHE and been on the line up of the Santa Cruz Sol festival. Check them out live and up close!

ARI is a group of Berkeley High Jazz program who are all in their own respective bands these days - but back in town bumming around for the Summer and getting together to form this “supergroup” to regale us with some Jazz and Reggae. Lucky us!

We are really excited to have DJ Mumbai Rani bringing a high energy fusion of authentic Bollywood beats and modern electronic rhythms, DJ Mumbai Rani is the Bay Areas premier female Bollywood DJ! Bring your best Bhangra and Bollywood vibes and get ready to move!!

DJ Mumbai Rani will be curating unforgettable music for every audience from 4 to 4:45pm on the Downtown Berkeley BART Plaza. Come dance your way into the evening.
