Ellery Cure is our newest Electrical Engineer, and we're looking forward to watching her fresh ideas and problem-solving skills contribute to the SES team.

Big welcome to Bob Roop as he joins SES as our K-12 Market Leader! After spending the last five years working for a large mechanical contractor, Bob is returning to the engineering community with an even deeper understanding of how design impacts construction, bringing a contractor’s perspective to our documentation and project approach.

With 30+ years of experience designing high-performance educational facilities, Bob has worked closely with school facilities staff to develop and implement designs that enhance classroom environments and support student success. His projects are known for their increased comfort, controllability, and flexibility, all while reducing energy consumption.

In addition to his K-12 efforts, Bob will focus on mentoring and talent development. We look forward to the impact he’ll have in growing the next generation of engineering leaders at SES.

Last night, Mike, Huong , Paul, and Brett had the pleasure of attending the IES Detroit December meeting, where the highlight of the evening was learning about the lighting on the National Christmas Tree. Did you know it takes 2.5 MILES of light strands to create that iconic holiday glow? A fascinating insight into the artistry and engineering behind such a beloved tradition!
