This beautiful Cane Corso is spending the next two weeks with us working on her manners, building better obedience, and becoming a more enjoyable companion both at home and out in public.

Congratulations to Bear and Teddy on graduating from AC K9 Training! 🎉

These two came to us with very different personalities, but they both left with the same foundation: better communication, clearer boundaries, and the skills to make better choices in everyday life!!

From working through impulse control and structured walks to building reliability around distractions, these boys put in the work every single day. We’re so proud of how far they’ve come, but now the most important part begins. Consistency at home is what turns training into a lifelong habit.

One of my favorite parts of this job is seeing our graduates and their families accomplish things that once felt impossible. Training starts the journey, but consistency at home is what makes it last.

One of the most important parts of board and train happens after your dog comes home.

During their stay with us, your dog learns new skills, builds better habits, and gains confidence through clear communication and structure. Once they’re back home, the goal is simply to continue what they’ve already started. A few minutes of intentional practice each day and staying consistent with expectations can make a huge difference, and it’s completely normal to have questions or hit a bump in the road along the way.

One thing we truly value at AC K9 Training is supporting our clients long after go home day. Training isn’t a one time event, it’s a journey, and we want our families to feel encouraged every step of the way.

That’s why every board and train graduate receives free lifetime refresher sessions. If something isn’t clicking, send us a video and we’ll happily watch it and offer suggestions. Need reassurance that you’re doing things correctly? Give us a call. Want to celebrate a big win or talk through a frustrating day? Text us. If an in person session would be most helpful, we’re happy to make that happen too.

You trusted us with your dog, and we want to continue being a resource for you long after their stay with us has ended. Seeing our graduates thrive at home is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do!

🎓 Congratulations, Millie! 🎓

Millie just graduated our 4 week training program! Over the last month, three of her sessions were dedicated to preparing for one very important arrival… her new baby brother! 🍼💙

For her final lesson, we had the opportunity to work with Millie alongside baby Charlie, helping her learn how to calmly coexist and navigate life with a tiny new family member.

Congratulations to Millie’s family on welcoming sweet Charlie into the world, and congratulations to Millie for becoming such a respectful and thoughtful big sister. We’re so proud of all the work everyone put in, and we’re thrilled that her family now feels much more confident having Millie and Charlie grow up together. 🐾💙
