I stumbled on to this image while editing our film – a random camera roll lasting just a few seconds – but capturing the actress playing the written words in her head just before her final scene as Marilyn Monroe. It reminded me what an absolute stroke of luck it was to cast this brilliant young actress (and I can absolutely say the same for the rest of this great cast, as well). Sara Copeland’s portrayal of America’s most iconic s*x symbol was truly multi-dimensional…funny, s*xy, intelligent, mean, tough, obnoxious and ultimately heartbreaking.
And very soon, you will all get to see.
