people will show up. maybe not who or how you imagined. but the moment you take yourself seriously, the universe notices and sends exactly who you need.
itโs exhausting. but when itโs a labor of love and your mission is clear? tiredness dissolves. you stop counting hours.
self-funding a small business is not for the weak. some days feel stable. some days you canโt see the light at all.
this last month has become a journey i never ever anticipated. it is forcing me to dig deep into places that have had the door shut for years within me. raw. layered and entangled with joy, love, grief, and curiosity.
iโm building something that runs deep into my bloodline and begs answers to questions we have no idea how to answer. pero somos hijos de la tierra. and iโm doing my damnest to figure out the how, the why, the where everything is rooted.
and answer it in food.
iโve cried a lot. questioned everything. but every single time i start to doubt, the universe shows the f**k up. every time. this space isnโt just whatโs needed. itโs what i need.
Friday was a huge blur. Delicious chaos. Next one will be even better.

November came and went like a whirlwind. So much to be grateful for: friendships, family, lessons, and new doors opening. It was our busiest month yet, chaotic and beautiful in its own way. It showed me the cracks I still need to tend to and the strength Iโve already built. I stocked up on inventory, dwindled resources, and tasted so many of my own creations.
To those that trusted us with your memorable events, thank you. To the friends that kept supporting us and cheering us on, I am immensely grateful.
Iโm not even sure what Iโm trying to sayโฆ maybe that la vida sigue, y seguiremos gozando pase lo que pase porque, al final, no pasa nada. We drank amazing drinks, hasta un poquito de pitorro de coco, y unos shots de Fortaleza. I laughed so much this month, cried when I needed to, and screamed a few times too. Iโm learning. Iโm hereโฆ with a tasting spoon in one hand and a handkerchief in the other.
Thank you, November. December is already hinting at a smoother rhythm, pero buenoโฆ weโll stay tuned.
