Congratulations to Lieutenant Commander Tanniesha Watts, Course Director, Plans, Operations, & Medical Intelligence (POMI) Course, Professional Development Directorate, who is retiring after 27 years of service in the Navy.

She began her naval career on July 7, 1999 as an enlisted Sailor, advanced to the rank of Chief Petty Officer (E-7), and then commissioned as a Medical Service Corps Officer reaching the rank of Lieutenant Commander (O-4). As a commissioned officer who was prior enlisted, Lt. Cmdr. Watts has earned the title of mustang. She will be retiring later this year on November 1.

Lt. Cmdr. Watts received the Navy & Marine Corps Commendation Medal as an end of tour award in recognition of all her hard work and accomplishments while stationed at NMLPDC. Bravo Zulu and enjoy your retirement! ⚓🎉

The Tri-Service Optician School (TOPS), a directorate of the Naval Medical Leader and Professional Development Command (NMLPDC), recently held its graduation ceremony for class 26-005 in Yorktown, Virginia.
