We’ve had the honor of collaborating with our dear friend and legendary p**a player Wu Man for over 30 years, so it was only natural that she joined us onstage for the World and West Coast Premieres of our latest project, Three Bones!
Wu Man is featured in the third part of the Three Bones triptych, “Beyond the Golden Gate,” where together we played selections from Tan Dun’s Ghost Opera as well as “Two Chinese Paintings,” the piece that we commissioned her to write for us as part of Kronos Fifty for the Future.
