The Positive Signs Initiative

We had the opportunity to join an event this morning hosted by Humanitarian Social Innovations (HSI). HSI has been supporting my path to seeking a 501c3 status since last year! Today I had the pleasure of meeting other community members of HSI, network, and hear about all the beneficial work each is doing for our communities. I also donated a personal piece of art for their raffle basket that went to a good home!

What a great event! Teaching art at Philly Magic Gardens. A wonderful nonprofit bringing community events to Philadelphia ❤️ if you have not visited, I highly recommend!

This weekend came one step closer to fulfilling a long-term goal, community art accessible to all with a focus on mental health awareness. We harnessed the positive energy of art and community at our Artist call workshop. Art is the heartbeat of a Community. It can help bind people, it has the capacity to tell a story and form dialogues, it can inspire and heal.
