𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘇𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀/𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗿𝘀!!

June 6th and 7th was another busy weekend for the Weekend Bagged Lunch Program at Church UCC. On Saturday, Morningstar Living (Heritage Village) donated lunches for 140 friends. Then on Sunday, the Freezer Food Ministries and Garden Gatherers grilled hotdogs, made warm sausage and pepper sandwiches, and had the best selection of fresh veggies for 84 friends.

Thanks to the wonderful contributions of these volunteers, 224 people dealing with food insecurity were able to have a nutritious meal on a warm weekend. The giving spirit of our volunteers is amazing!!!

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗢𝗳 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵!!

Food insecurity exists in Bethlehem. Last Sunday, a wonderful group of volunteers from Our Lady of Perpetual Help RC helped our neighbors cope by donating and serving 97 lunches as part of the Weekend Bagged Lunch Program.

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗘𝗽𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁!!

In spite of a steady downpour, the kind volunteers from Epworth United Methodist Church donated and served 150 lunches to our neighbors on Saturday, May 23rd as part of the ongoing Weekend Bagged Lunch Program.

To put that many meals in context, the lunch program typically serves about 200 lunches on Saturday and Sunday combined..

Thank you for your dedication and giving spirit! Our friends and neighbors appreciated your efforts to help them deal with food scarcity.
