This Christmas, stories were shared, memories were honored, and legacies were lovingly written. 🎄✨
Through our Silver Readers Circle, our seniors create books drawn from their own lives — their history, their wisdom, their voices. Each page is a reminder that every story matters and deserves to be preserved.
This collage captures more than a moment — it captures a lifetime.
We are deeply grateful to walk alongside our elders as they turn memories into living legacies. Board members and sharing this moment along side our faithful and dedicated volunteers. Click the link in bio to donate and volunteer.

We are beyond excited to announce that has joined the CFB Foundation team as our new Director of Programs! 🎉
Jennifer’s journey to the foundation is rooted in compassion, connection, and a deep commitment to making a difference. Her path began in Grade 4 when her teacher chose her to assist a special needs student, Mary, diagnosed with autism. This experience sparked a lasting bond and ignited Jennifer’s passion for service, showing her that compassion was not just a value, but something natural to her.
Her devotion grew as she witnessed her mother’s selflessness, opening their home to two young girls facing hardship. Her mother’s words—“you will always have a home with us”—taught Jennifer the power of kindness and unconditional love.
In 2010, Jennifer returned to her small hometown in Northern Ontario to care for her mother, who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and given only two weeks to live. During that time, Jennifer ensured her mother’s comfort and shared precious moments together. This profound experience of care and honoring others’ legacies led Jennifer to a career working with seniors, volunteering, and ensuring no one felt forgotten.
Jennifer’s decision to join the CFB Foundation as Director of Programs is a natural next step. She is passionate about creating initiatives that honor and enhance the lives of seniors, helping them feel valued and celebrated. We are truly honored to have Jennifer as part of our team and are confident that her heart for service will make a profound impact on our foundation and the community we serve. 💚
