You’ve probably heard by now that there are many benefits to NOT clearing every leaf, pine needle, or other form of organic material from your yard. That’s right, no one needs an army of leaf blowers making a yard clean enough to eat off of. Just leave the leaves. They benefit important insects including pollinators and can help improve the health of your yard. If the thought of some errant leaves in your yard will keep you awake at night, maybe just leave a pile somewhere in the yard or use the leaves as mulch in the garden bed.
