Looking for experienced carpenters with solid carpentry skills to join our team. We build CUSTOM homes in southern Maine, as well as perform remodels/additions/renovations, and smaller jobs such as window/door replacement, decks, siding, etc. Each project is unique, therefore qualified candidates must have attention to detail, positive attitude, and be able to follow directions.

We do all phases of residential construction, start to finish, and are busy with year round work.

**Must have own hand tools, valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

**3+ years of experience preferred, at least 2 years required

**Qualified candidates must have at least 2 verifiable work-related references in the carpentry/construction field.

Qualifications and Skills

2+ years experience in carpentry/ residential construction: General carpentry, Finish carpentry. Preferred experience in several areas including framing, siding, new construction, remodels/renovations, window/door installation, decks, general carpentry, finish carpentry. However, will also consider candidates that are more specialized in framing, or finish carpentry if that is what one prefers to do.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role

- Proficient in using various carpentry tools and equipment

- Strong knowledge of different carpentry techniques and materials

- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings

- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship

- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects

- Good communication skills

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

-Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work individually.

Pay based on experience, quality of work/performance, with opportunity to advance. Pay rate is negotiable after employee demonstrates level of skill and ability. (Pay range $28-35/hour)
