DISTRICT UPDATE DISTRICT UPDATE

The Biddeford School Department is proud to be one of seven Maine districts selected to participate in the SHAW Challenge in partnership with MaineHealth, an initiative focused on strengthening youth mental health through evidence-based prevention and wellness strategies. Through the four-year initiative, the district will receive $10,000 annually for implementation, and we recently celebrated an exciting kickoff opportunity as 20 Biddeford Intermediate School students attended a Portland Hearts of Pine match, launching what will become ongoing student connection and social-emotional learning opportunities through this partnership.
