Red Ryding Farm

We will have a greenhouse with a dirt floor. To help make that dirt usable they recommend going 2ft deep around the edges to keep the cold at bay. We want to plant a couple trees in the space, so this was the first section to get the insulation. Not as awful as I thouggt to dig the trenches. It should also help with critters

We are thinking of planting dwarf Lemon, Fig & avocado trees.

What would you plant?

In the winter the snow comes off the roof and blocks this door. I am.hoping to but up an awning to make it usable, and to lock the big doors more. Not as elaborate as the one that i built on the other barn, but hopefully it gets the job done.
