National President Patrick Yoes sent a letter to Representatives Goldman and Bresnahan in support of H.R. 7033, the “Federal Correctional Officer Paycheck Protection Act.”

H.R. 6938 was signed, which means the Federal Bureau of Prisons will not be impacted by a Govt. shutdown. We are funded until Sept 30th.

You may hear reports in the news about a possible shutdown next Friday, but this does not affect us—our appropriations bill has already been passed.
