Just a fun feel good story about a little horse from Montana. Larry Mayer, the man behind the lens, is a beloved community photographer. The Blains are also huge supporters of our community and were very instrumental in making our first Yellowstone County Sheriff's helicopter happen. Needless to say it has been crucial in saving many, not just sweet little horses stuck in the river.
Our photographer Larry Mayer got this shot of the Yellowstone County Sheriff's Office Air One, flown by Gary Blain, lifting a horse that was stranded on a gravel bar in the Yellowstone River this morning.
