What is PDR and how does it work?

PDR is short for Paintless Dent Repair. It’s a method of dent removal that doesn’t harm the factory paint during the process.

How does it work?
A PDR technician uses specialized tools to gently maneuver a dent back to its original position. Modern vehicles have access spaces behind the body panels that most skilled technicians can get to. From there they gently push it out with their specialized tools. If the technician is not able to reach it they carefully take the panel off and from there they can massage the dent out. Special lights let the technician know when it’s pushed out back in to position.
