This house with it’s unusual site constraints is nestled directly into the boulders of the rims on its north side while its south exposure looks out unfurled to views of the city valley and mountains beyond. A ying and yang of closed in and wide open as you move through the house. A big shout out to Krivonen Structural Engineers, this one was a challenge for sure!

Our clients were looking for a more traditional European influence for their home in the Silverado development. We found it in a deep set stone entry, shutters on tall narrow windows and conservatory style bumpouts. Plenty of natural light, outdoor living space and a huge art studio bring it all up to the standards of modern living.
