The Black Hills Hockey Academy is thrilled to announce that coach Dmitry is back as our Puck Handling Specialist for 2023. Lead instructor Riley Weselowski had this to say when asked about the signing. "Lets GOOOOOO! Summer 23 just leveled up BIG TIME" With some of the silkiest mitts in the land, legend has it that Kuzy started training his hands while he was still in the womb.

A favorite instructor every single camp, Kuzy used the momentum of the last two summers to help him not only rack up a point per game this past season with the Danbury Hattricks, but also help his team to the League Championship.

"I am beyond excited to be back for another summer with the BHHA. I am looking forward to seeing a lot of familiar faces from the past two seasons, and also making some new lifelong friends" said Kuznetsov. "I hope all the the kids, but especially my friends up in Roseau, have been working on their puck skills, cause I have some next level drills lined up for the summer"

Coach Weselowski added "Dmitry connects with the athletes as good as any coach I have worked with. He has a way of breaking down complicated skills and presenting them in a way that even beginners can grasp. The number one reason that the BHHA is the most exciting week of the summer for a lot of our athletes, is staff members like Dmitry. 2023 is going to be a year these kids will remember forever."
