I faced my fears for y’all today, South Mississippi. 😂⛈️
Enjoy this compilation of bloopers, behind-the-scenes moments, and a few laughs from our long day covering the flooding in Stone County.
It’s true... I’m a Katrina baby, so I’ve never been the biggest fan of severe weather. Spending the day in the middle of it all was definitely outside my comfort zone. But at the end of the day, while it was a long, wet, and exhausting day, it was also a reminder of why I love this job.
We met some incredible people, witnessed neighbors helping neighbors, and even managed to have a little fun along the way.
Stay safe out there, South Mississippi. ❤️🌧️📺

Thank you to Harrison County and Gulfport first responders for helping me get to my family. 🙏🏻
