A Recent Life-Saving Alert

Recently one of our clients experienced a harrowing event when their Sentry Alarms installed CO2 monitor alerted us of high levels of CO2. Our Central Station team handled the alarm instantly, ensuring emergency services were dispatched while occupants were alerted to evacuate.

It turns out the business’s neighbor had ignored the alert coming from their CO2 monitor and because of this carbon monoxide (the silent killer) had leaked through an old, unsealed window in a shared wall.

This event is a stark reminder that an alarm providing an alert is often a warning of a real threat, not just a nuisance. In this case, the Sentry monitored system was the only thing that stood between a routine workday and a tragedy.
