Whether you’ve cruised before or have never taken a cruise, I will now give a shameless plug for Princess. Just finished my second voyage and I was blown away by the helpfulness and kindness of the staff. I traveled with my aunt who has some mobility issues and she was looked after from start to finish. Not sure who needs to hear this, but I just thought of another quick thing I wanted to post about travel. Everything won’t be perfect. No matter how well you plan and choose your travel package. Can you still have an amazing experience? Absolutely! But tempering expectations will make you much more able to ride the inevitable bumps in the road. Got to drive through Acadia National Park in Maine today. The terrain reminded me that these hills are the northern sisters of the southern Appalachian mountains. Gorgeous! Both familiar and new.
