I Have Had The Privilege of Being Completely Committed To Living
With, Loving and Leading The People of God In The House of God!

I continue To "...Thank Christ Jesus Our Lord, Who Hath Enabled
Me, For That He Counted Me Faithful, Putting Me Into The
Ministry;" 📖I Timothy 1:12📖

I PrayThat The LORD Will Allow Me To Continue To Walk Out The
Scripture That Has Come To Define Our Church, Our Lives and Our
Ministry... It's The One I Call "The Other John 3:16."

14 Years Ago Today, On May 27, 2012 I Was Ordained Into The
Baptist Clergy And Began Walking In The Pastoral Ministry.

And Every Day Of My Life Since, I Have Determined, Despite All My Human Failures, Faults and Propensity to Fall Into Foolishness, To Stay True To The 3 Things That The LORD Told Me I Would Need To "Be" In Order To Walk In The Ministry To Which He Had Called Me:

Be Available.
Be Willing; and
Be Faithful.

📖 I Timothy 1:12 📖
And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

I Thank God Because I Have Been Blessed To Serve As An Associate Pastor Alongside Several "Good and Faithful Servants" and Continue To This Day To Be Mentored By and Enjoy The Privilege of Being In The Company of Some Of The "Best Black Baptist Pastors, Preachers, Teachers and Church Leaders On This Side of Heaven!"

While These 14 Years Have Not All Been Easy (God Never Promised That It Would Be...) It Still Goes Without Saying That My Life, My Family, and My Ministry Have All Been Blessed Immeasurably. It Would Take Another 14 Years for Me To List The Many Blessings That Have Come Our Way As A Result of Staying Faithful To The LORD's Call.

Most of All, I Thank God for
My 🙌🏾Word Alive Church In Christ AND
My Shiloh Baptist Church Norwood🙌🏾 Family!

I Continue To Look Forward To The Many, Magnificent, Majestic, Marvelous and Even Miraculous Things That Our Great & Mighty God Is 'Yet Fixin To Do' In Us, For Us and Through Us... As The Bible Says In 📖 I Corinthians 2:9 📖:

"...Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."

First Lady Evangelist Mary Merritt and I Could Not Possibly Be More Grateful For The Great Grace, The Enduring Mercy, The Manifold and Manifested Blessings and The Unconditional Love That Our Great, Gracious, Mighty and Merciful God Has Literally Caused To "Rain Down On Us" Since We Answered The LORD's Call and Took A Great Leap of Faith To Launch A "Virtual Church" In The Middle of A Rising Pandemic Just Because God Told Us To Do It... So We Did!🙌🏾

And Just As We Have Learned In Almost 27 Years of Active Ministry In The Church, "What God Ordains, He Also Maintains." As We Celebrate Still Being Here After 6 Years and Step Into The 7th Year Which Y'all Already Knonw Is The "Year of Completion" We Just Want To Share A Few Key Lessons We Have Learned Along The Way And As Always, We Pray, That What We Share Here Today Will Help Someone Along The Way As We All Journey Through This Life With Our Risen Lord And Savior Jesus Christ!

First, We Must Express Our Endless Appreciation and Our Limitless Love For Our Bishop, Our Pastor, and Most of All, Our Friend, Rev. Kelvin J. Anthony, The Senior Pastor of The Shiloh Baptist Church Norwood. We Want The Whole World To Know and We Are Not At All Ashamed To Say That... Were It Not For His Pastoral Leadership, His Patient and Loving Guidance, His Personal Mentorship and His "I-Can-Show-Ya Better Than I-Can-Tell-Ya" Example We Can State Unequivocally and With Absolute Certainty That NONE of The Great Things That Have Come Through Our Church and Its Ministry Could Have or Would Have Happened. We Owe Our Bishop, Our Pastor and Our Friend A Debt We Know We Can Never Repay.

We Also Acknowledge That Pastor KJ Has Taught Us The Single Biggest Lesson We Have Learned In and About Church Ministry and That Is This: "You Don't Have To Be A BIG Church To Do Great Things For The Kingdom, For The LORD and For The People That God Sends to You For You To Serve." To This Very Day, Our Pastor Continues To Show Us That, Truth Be Told, You Can Actually Do MORE If You're "Just A Little Church With BIG Faith!"

And Finally, Two Immutable and Indisputable Facts That Any and Every Pastor, Preacher, Teacher or (Aspiring) Church Ministry Leader Should Know, and What We Believe Our Own Life, Walk and Ministry Shows Are These:

God ALWAYS RESPONDS To Faith... Without Fail;
and
God ALWAYS REWARDS Faithfulness... With Blessings On Blessings!
