NASA Awards Lunar Freezer System Contract - NASA NASA has selected the University of Alabama at Birmingham to provide the necessary systems required to return temperature sensitive science payloads to Earth

Did you know the International Space Station orbits the Earth once every 90 minutes? That means it completes about 16 orbits every single day!
If you're on UAB - The University of Alabama at Birmingham campus or even in the Central Alabama area, keep an eye on the sky this evening for a nice view of the ISS as it passes overhead. It will be a good night to witness the station as it travels over 17,000 mph, carrying astronauts and even some of EITD's flight hardware.
Look towards the WNW around 7:12 pm Central time as the ISS makes its appearance for a full 6 minutes before disappearing in the SSE.
