The Owner is Retiring

Thank you all for making this restaurant so special and allowing Johnny Ray’s BBQ to server you and the community for the past 30 years. From the bottom of our hearts, we are filled with gratitude and appreciation to our loyal customers, and everyone for your support. Thank you for being a part of it, it’s been a great pleasure to serve you.

We will never forget the civilians & responders who lost their lives this day or whose lives may have been affected by 9/11.

Johnny Ray's BBQ, along with many businesses, are in the middle of a hiring crisis. Beginning Sunday August 29th we will be closing on Sunday's until further notice, due to a staffing shortage. Our team works hard every day, but they are tired and stressed. We are doing everything we can to hire more team members. We are seeing far less job applicants, people not showing up for their interviews, or accepting a job only to not show up for work. The restaurant industry has suffered from a hiring perspective during the pandemic and unfortunately Johnny Ray's BBQ is not immune to this labor shortage.
The good news is we are committed to serving our community. We are committed to great food served by amazing team members, so if you feel inclined give them a word of encouragement next time you come by.
