We were honored to attend the Sight Savers America Hero for Sight dinner recognizing Drs. Alston and Mike Callahan for their lasting impact on eye care in Birmingham and beyond. The evening also featured the unveiling of a beautiful commemorative work by gifted blind artist Shellyann Siddoo, which will be displayed in the first floor lobby of UAB Hospital-Callahan Eye over the next year.

Thank you to Sight Savers America, Dr. Mike Callahan, and Shellyann for a memorable evening centered on service, innovation, advocacy, and the power of vision.
