Southpace spent a day on the Cahaba! Last week, our team volunteered with the Cahaba River Coalition, focusing cleanup efforts on areas with heavy litter accumulation along the river.

It was a great way to step away from our desks, work together outdoors, and support the work this organization does for our community.

Dogtopia is coming to Highway 280! Garrett Laurie and Tyler Bradford represented the landlord in bringing Dogtopia to Bazaar 280, located at Highway 119 and Highway 280. William Ledbetter with EGS represented the tenant. This will be Dogtopia's third Birmingham location, joining Big Bad Breakfast, Great Clips, Salon Suites, and others at the center.

VIP Care is coming to Daphne Commons. Stephanie Hill and Buff Teague represented the landlord in this transaction, and Shannon Tyndall represented VIP Care.

Southpace is excited to welcome our summer interns, Thomas Taaffe and Vance Phillips! The two kicked off their 8-week program last week and have hit the ground running alongside our Retail Team. Over the course of the summer, they will be getting hands-on exposure to leasing, tenant representation, and market research, assisting with site selection, market tours, and real deals from start to finish. We are so glad to have them this summer!
