Thank you to Rotaract Club of Birmingham for having us at their 2026 Annual Meeting. Better Basics was selected as a Monthly Service Partner, meaning Rotaract members donated books and volunteered alongside us. We were so happy to celebrate your year!

Better Basics is seeking passionate professionals to join our Junior Board and help advance our mission to empower children across Alabama with foundational academic skills and educational opportunities for lifelong success.

Junior Board members play a vital role through:
-Advocacy and community outreach
-Donor and sponsor cultivation
-Volunteer service at Better Basics Reads and other programs
-Annual fundraiser development and ex*****on
-Monthly meeting participation (virtual and in-person)
