Meet Practice Works member, David Angwin.
A native of Birmingham, Alabama, David brings extensive experience working with diverse populations and addressing the unique needs of each individual. His clinical expertise spans substance use disorders, sexual trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+ mental health, and a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges.
David takes a holistic, client-centered approach, integrating psychodynamic, cognitive, behavioral, Gestalt, and existential therapies to support meaningful healing and growth. He earned his Master of Social Work from the University of Alabama and continues to expand his practice through advanced training in Psychodrama, Group Psychotherapy, and Sociometry.
