Many of my dyslexic students benefit from this non-profit that provides audio fiction and non-fiction books read by volunteers. This way, the student doesn't fall behind their peers in vocabulary and fund of knowledge when their reading level is below their cognitive level.

I'm giving a live dyslexia presentation this Friday, Nov. 18 from 12:30-1:30 at the Copper Queen Library Annex in San Jose. I will speak about why understanding it is important, what it is, and what to do about it. Please spread the word if you live in the Bisbee area.
