A little sneak peek of something I've been quietly working on behind the scenes. 🤍

What started as an idea for a portfolio quickly turned into something much bigger.

This summer I'm launching the first issue of Reflect & Refocus: Women in Business — a magazine-style publication featuring local women-owned businesses, entrepreneurs, creatives, & community builders throughout Southern Arizona.

Inside you'll find beautiful portraits, business stories, & a glimpse into the incredible women who are creating, serving, teaching, & building right here in communities.

My hope is that this publication not only showcases my photography, but also shines a light on the people & businesses that make Cochise County so special.

This is just the beginning.

Future issues will focus on education, local markets, farms & gardens, coffee culture, community events, & so much more.

& yes... I'm already thinking about who might be featured next. 😉

So If you're a local business owner, entrepreneur, maker, educator, or community leader & would like to be considered for a future issue, I'd love to connect. Tell me about your business in the comments or send me a message. 🤍

I'd also love to place copies of the magazine in local offices, salons, coffee shops, waiting rooms, boutiques, & other community spaces. So if you'd be interested in displaying a copy for your customers to browse, please reach out & let me know. I'm currently putting together a distribution list & trying to get an idea of how many copies to print for the first issue.

One last note: because I've always believed in community over competition, I'd love to connect with other local photographers as well. If this is a project you think you might be interested in collaborating on, or helping grow in the future, I'd love to chat about what that might look like.

I'm so excited to see where this project goes. Thank you all for supporting my photography & the small businesses that make our community such a special place. 🤍

National Egg Day. 🥚

Fresh eggs, curious little hands, & a reminder from Scripture.

In a world that often encourages us to elevate ourselves, God's Word points us toward humility.

"Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted." — Matthew 23:12

Today, I'm grateful for simple moments, curious hearts, & the reminder that God's way is often different from the world's.

Sometimes the simplest moments carry the biggest lessons. 🤍

A little late, but congratulations to the Class of 2026! 🎓📚

I've been enjoying some family time since summer break started, but I wanted to wish all the graduates the best as they begin their next chapter. Here's to new adventures, new opportunities, and plenty of great books along the way!

And if you're building your summer reading list, I know just the place to start. 😉📖

It's June — & for some, that means Pride Month.

But June is also Men's Mental Health Awareness Month. It's also the month we celebrate fathers.

There's also:
June 6 — National Donut Day
June 8 — National Best Friends Day
June 14 — Flag Day
June 18 — International Picnic Day
June 21 — First Day of Summer (Summer Solstice)
June 22 — National Kissing Day
June 23 — National Eat at a Food Truck Day
June 24 — Take Your Dog to Work Day
June 27 — National Sunglasses Day
June 29 — National Camera Day

& for many of us, it's also a time to reflect on the value of life & the blessing of every child.

But no matter what fills your feed this month, I hope you'll take time to encourage someone, check in on a friend, thank a father, pray for those who are struggling, & spend time in God's Word.

There are a lot of voices competing for our attention. This month, just like every month, I'm choosing to focus on the things that point me back to faith, family, friendship, & truth. 🤍

• This month's posts may look a little different as my family & I set out on some adventures & I challenge myself creatively to capture the small moments that often get passed by.

So stay tuned..

Lately I’ve been carrying this heavy feeling on my chest about social media.

Somewhere along the way, people started feeling like they have to be perfectly done up to deserve photos. Perfect hair. Perfect makeup. The “right” body. The perfect outfit. The perfect captions. The perfect life.
But that’s not real life.

And honestly… it makes me sad.

Because as a photographer, I don’t want people to feel like they need to become someone else before stepping in front of my camera.

I want people to feel seen. Comfortable. Natural. Confident. Human.

Some of the most beautiful moments I’ve ever captured weren’t “perfect” at all. Wind-blown hair. No makeup. Laughing too hard. Awkward moments turning genuine. People simply being themselves.

That’s the kind of beauty I want people to remember they already have.

You do not have to earn the right to exist in photos. You do not have to become “better” before you deserve to be seen. 🤍

Some journeys are fueled by passion, purpose, & a whole lot of late nights 🤍🩺

Congratulations to this beautiful nursing graduate on all of her hard work & dedication. From long study nights to clinicals & everything in between… she did it. 🎓

I absolutely loved getting to capture this season for her. Every little detail — from her nursing cap to her custom graduation cap — tells part of the story she worked so hard to write.

“Trust in your journey.”
A perfect reminder that growth takes time, courage, & faith in yourself along the way ✨

Class of 2026, the future looks bright ❤️

Not my normal content but last week was something special 🤍

Right here in Bisbee, our little town came alive with worship, music, & a whole lot of heart at the Evening of Miracles.

This wasn’t just a concert…
it was people coming together — lifting their hands, sharing testimonies of faith, praying over one another, & just being present in the moment.

One of the most beautiful parts of the night?
Seeing so many local churches come together — serving this community side by side. Bringing food & drinks to share & creating a space where everyone felt welcome. That kind of unity is something special.

So much of this is thanks to Alma Hickman — a woman with a vision, a servant, & a beautiful soul with a deep passion for this community.

From J.M.B Music to Syl Noiz, Seventh Day Slumber, & so many others — the talent, the energy, the message… it all carried something deeper.

& honestly, one of my favorite parts?
Watching the crowd.
The smiles.
The quiet moments.
The hands lifted in worship.
The connections being made.

This is why I love what I do — getting to capture moments that mean something.

Bisbee showed up last night 🤍
& I’m so grateful I got to be there!
