Dakota Pygoras

We took the barrier down between the does and the herd. The hay in the barn floor is getting deep. This created a temptation that the herd could not resist. After watching us feed grain to the mommas twice a day, the rest of the herd was feeling left out. They saw a 1/3 full bucket of grain sitting in the other side of the fence. The temptation was just too much. The next morning I found 1/2 the herd in with the mommas and the other 1/2 outside the barn. The red bucket of grain was empty as was the cat food dish! How they managed to jump over that gate or small wood panel is beyond me but NOT beyond a goat. Again; if I could know what a goat is thinking or figure out what they really are capable of accomplishing; I would have saved so much time , money and accidents from happening. We just keep on taking notes from our goats.
