Good morning! I hope everyone’s summer has been filled with many great memories. Over these warm months, our bees have been busy gathering nectar—it’s always a joy to see them buzzing around the yard.

This past weekend, we harvested their honey. As the weather cools, it’s the perfect time to get restocked—or to share a sweet gift with family and friends.

I almost forgot! We made cinnamon pickles this summer in anticipation for the holidays. What are cinnamon pickles? They are cucumbers soaked in a food-grade lye and then soaked in a sugar solution with red-hot candies for several days before processing. They are crisp with a sweet cinnamon flavor. It has been years since having any. Who remembers having these when you were younger?
