During National Safety Month, Everus is highlighting CPR training. The National Safety Council encourages everyone to learn about Automated External Defibrillators and how to perform CPR in the event of sudden cardiac arrest.

With over 350,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests annually, time and action are both critical. A victim’s survival rate can drop 10% per minute without medical attention. Fortunately, performing CPR can double or even triple the victim's survival rate.

Being informed, prepared, and acting immediately can preserve the safety of both your people and ours.

▪️Feeling empty, hopeless, extremely sad, agitated, full of rage, trapped or in unbearable emotional or physical pain.
▪️Behavior changes like withdrawing from friends, saying goodbye or giving away important items; researching ways to die or making a will; taking dangerous risks; displaying extreme mood swings; changes in eating or sleeping; or increased alcohol or substance use.
