We love a good story, and today, we're turning the page to a new chapter.
After more than two decades leading the agency, our founder Mike Mabin is retiring. We’re incredibly grateful for the vision and leadership he’s brought to MABU and the many clients and communities we’ve had the opportunity to serve together.
Alexander Mabin will step into the role of CEO as we continue partnering with organizations to develop thoughtful communication strategies and tell meaningful stories.
We’re also excited to share the promotion of Melissa Wulf to VP of Creative Strategy as part of this transition.

This covert op called for a couple of our top agents. Ed and Katie represented MABU and Birdtree Studio at the American Advertising Awards, accepting two golds, one silver, and best of show in the public service category for our work created in partnership with ICF and the CDC.
We’re continually inspired by North Dakota’s growing talent and grateful to be part of this incredible community. Congrats to all the winners and to AAF North Dakota, aka mission control, for orchestrating another gold-level operation.
