And our scholarship is available to EVERYONE connected to the island! Adults, kids, rich, poor, any on island and off island artistic people who have lived here. Or someone who wants to try an art class for the first time.

No residency restrictions or financial disclosures.

The scholarship committee’s mission is to show RISD how many of us will take classes. When we have enough data we can use it to get them to come hold classes on the island in the summer and the low season.

They will certify some of our local artists to teach too. Our goal is implement this by 2025.
