So, after many trials, I have come to the realization that there is really no substitute for making your own skin serum. And it's so EASY! And this recipe works for almost all skin types:

1/3 Olive Squalane
1/3 Argan Oil
1/3 Apricot Kernel Oil
Essential oils of Frankincense, Jasmine and Helichrysum

I prefer to get the refined Argan oil because the unrefined has a pretty strong odor, but both work fine. You can substitute Almond oil for the AKO. I like the sweet scent of organic unrefined AKO myself.

For the essential oils, first make sure they are genuine EOs and not fragrance oils. If the Jasmine isn't super expensive, it's probably super diluted OR a fragrance oil. I like the Jasmine on LibertyNatural.com. I don't have the exact recipe in front of me, but just play around with it a bit. Do not exceed 1%. The Helichrysum is not a particularly pleasant scent, so go very lightly -- maybe a drop or two in an ounce of serum. Also, if you have a blend you already particularly like, use that as long as it includes EOs that are good for the skin and not photo sensitizing.
