Protective Order Project
POP at the IU Maurer School of Law helps empower survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking by obtaining civil protective orders.

On April 2 from 12:00 - 1:00 PM in room 125, the Protective Order Project is hosting a Special Victims Panel featuring professionals who work closely with survivors of domestic violence and related harms. Panelists include Jessi Hollingsworth (Domestic Violence Victim Advocate), Sally Thomas (Director of Victim Resources at Indiana University), Maryann Williams (Faculty Director of the Protective Order Project), and Raeanna Moore (Monroe County Deputy Prosecutor). The panel will bring together legal and allied professionals to discuss their work supporting survivors, navigating the legal system, and building careers in special victims’ services. This will be 1 POP point.

Please join POP, FDLA, and Judge Stafford for an event about distinguishing between legal and non-legal advice. Lunch will be provided and POP members will earn one point for attendance!
