Yesterday marked the beginning of the two-day spiritual formation retreat, a time set apart for reflection, renewal, and deeper connection with God. The opening sessions created a meaningful atmosphere that invited the Kenyan staff to pause from daily routines and focus intentionally on their spiritual lives, preparing them to engage in practices and teachings that nurture spiritual transformation, community, and a stronger awareness of God’s presence.

On April 14, 2006, exactly 20 years ago today, Chad Parker and the very first team stepped into Mitumba Slum in Kenya for the first time.

It was there they met Shadrack and Violet, two people that would forever change our story.

What started as a single visit became a movement…A mission…A calling that has now impacted hundreds of thousands of lives across East Africa..

Today, we celebrate not just a moment… but two decades of God’s faithfulness, hope, and transformation.

Yesterday was full of joy, laughter, and love at the Magadi Centre!

The Spiritual Formation team spent meaningful time with the children, sharing Bible stories, making colorful crafts, and placing a special crown on each child’s head. The smiles said it all as they ran around proudly, celebrating just how loved they are.

They wrapped up the day with snacks and games, and hearts were full all around.

What a wonderful day at the South B School!

The Spiritual Formation team spent the day with the children, sharing joy, laughter, and love. They started with a VBS program and Bible stories that brought lots of smiles and excitement. Later, bubbles filled the air as the kids laughed, chased, and popped them with joy.

They ended the day by sharing juice and biscuits with the children, a simple treat that made the day even more special. It was truly a beautiful day full of love, learning, and laughter.

Our agriculture team is building out 20 beehives and colonies at our ministry center in Ngong to sustainably produce honey. This initiative creates a renewable source of high quality honey, supports local agriculture through pollination, and provides hands-on training in beekeeping for our high schoolers.

It’s another step toward building self-sustaining systems that empower the community for generations to come.

Many of these boys come from challenging circumstances, but on this court they are learning discipline, teamwork, and perseverance...and being reminded that they are seen, valued, and loved.
