I wanted to remember this school and the losses and all the injuries that occured and lift them up in prayer.

I know it can feel overwhelming when we hear news like this, especially when it is so close to home, but we have to remember that we can't let these thoughts and fears consume us. This is what the enemy wants. When the Bible says he comes to kill, steal, and destroy.. it means he comes to steal your peace, kill your confidence in God, and destroy all that you have worked so hard to gain. When this happens the feeling of being separated from God will stop you in your tracks and sometimes make you forget all his promises and all that he has done for you.

Instead of letting the news and the things that our physically out of our control, we can do what is in our control and that is getting on our knees in prayer and fighting this war with the power and authority Christ gave us. We can stop the devil in his tracks! Yes! we have that power because Jesus said when he left..greater things we will do than he did when he was here. It's time to get on our knees and go to war!! We are not defeated until we lay down and just give up.

So now that the introduction part is taken care of .. Let's move on to what most of us are excited for...Fall?😁🍂🍁 Most who know me, knows I stay ready for this time of year. 🙃 Fall just is always so crisp and colorful!! Who can be in a bad mood when you have wind blowing through your hair, colors all around you, and oh!, don't leave out Hot Apple Cider, Apple picking, hay rides, pumpkin spice (bet you were hoping I'd leave that out 😆), and all the fun festivities that come with the Harvest Season.

I get a lot of teasing about my love for fall and Christmas, 😆and yes I do know the teasing is all in fun, 😄 All of us have our own things that excite us more than others. For me I have reasons why I cling on so hard to the things that bring me so much joy, and for most of us that is true.

Throughout my blog I will be sharing tidbits of my testimony instead of boring you with a big long story. Most of my passions stem from the things God has freed me from and so clinging onto those things and embracing the joy that comes with it is how God showed me to find joy. ❤️

I was bound by deep depression for a very long time and when God healed me in 2019 I learned what would cause my battle and what would keep me in a joyful state of mind. I have learned that joy is all around me, but I have to choose to find it, even if it's a season, a holiday, and sometimes even a song.

But beyond that, I found my everlasting joy in just one thing and that was the time I spend with my Father God and reading my bible. It's in those little moments that God downloaded not only his word but his heart. If you don't understand God's heart then you can never truly understand how much God loves you. When I finally understood this, everything the devil tried to use to destroy me was blown up in his face. God never gave up on me, and now I am walking in joy that surpasses all understanding. This doesn't mean I don't face challenges, but when we suit up everyday and we not only put on the belt of righteous, the helmet of salvation, or hold the shield of salvation, but we wear the cloak of joy, peace, compassion, and self-control. We armor ourselves to defeat the schemes of the enemy and stand ready when he comes knocking on the door. Some of us are opening the door and setting a plate at their table, then wondering why our day is one battle after the next. We have to keep our eyes and ears full of Godly and edifying things so we can be deaf to the schemes of the enemy and blind to the lies he tries to put in front of us. You aren't broke, sick, defeated, depressed, anxious, angry....well you get the point. If you are prepared each day by filling your bellies with God's word then when the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy all you have to do is open your mouth and what you fed your spirit will come out like a roaring lion and the enemy will leave with his tail tucked between his legs.

Welcome to my new blog page. I am new to this but everyday I wake up and think about how I can write and inspire all my friends and family and beyond. Have you ever been just doing a chore around the house, working, or even driving and Holy Spirit just starts downloading all these things into your spirit. Well this happens to me just about every second. From a young age the passion to write has always been there. Speaking has always been something I could do but would more studder my thoughts, even though they were there, I felt I couldn't express them quite as well as if I wrote them down.

My dream for this page is to be an inspiration to other woman and men if they need it (that is why I have invited both sexes). I am a woman nonetheless and know how woman think, well most woman, so I can only connect better with them, but if there was something that I experienced in my daily walk that could touch everyone, well I don't want anyone to miss out.

Please feel free to engage and even ask me questions. If there is someone who wants prayer or needs a different perspective on something, and hey don't we all at times, then I would be happy to be that person. Who knows maybe it will be something I am also needing a new perspective on and we can both grow in wisdom together.
