“Le Bicolore,” or Flag Day, is a meaningful celebration for the people of Haiti. In a country marked by insecurity, political unrest, and economic hardship, days like this become powerful reminders of the resilience, unity, and hope of the Haitian people.

Last week, schools across Haiti celebrated with parades, cultural performances, patriotic activities, and gatherings that reflected the strength and spirit of their communities. While the Haitian flag carries deep historical significance, it also is a symbol of perseverance that represents people who continue to move forward despite ongoing challenges.

For many Haitians, Flag Day is more than a national holiday. It is a celebration of identity, faith, culture, and a symbol of hope for future generations.

The Impact of LSM Tech

Since 2021, 20 students have graduated from LSM Tech with degrees in accounting, computer science, and civil engineering. With nearly 50 additional graduates expected over the next two years, God is continuing to transform lives and expand the impact of this program. By 2028, enrollment is projected to increase by more than 75%.

Students from Homes of Hope and surrounding communities receive two years of vocational training, biblical discipleship and leadership development. Through these opportunities, they are equipped with university degrees and practical skills to become independent, self-sustaining young men and women.
