Please join us for the conclusion of our 2025-26 Literary Season. Tomorrow at 2pm we will be with Jennifer S. Brown, author of The Whisper Sister. And what a fabulous season it has been! More than 30 authors, fiction and non-fiction, in person and virtual! This is all made possible because of the Jewish Book Council and the supporters of the Myrna Lippman Literary Fund! Now, we are about to embark on planning another fabulous season which will happen in the Fall in our newly renovated building. Looking forward to sharing it all with you!

📚 A Literary Afternoon Series continues with Jennifer S. Brown's captivating coming-of-age novel, "The Whisper Sister."

Set in Prohibition-era New York, the story follows Minnie Soffer, a young Jewish immigrant who must take over her father's speakeasy to survive, navigating family duty, antisemitism, and forbidden love, while forging her own identity.

Join Brown as she discusses her novel and the creative process behind it.
