2. File the claim yourself, and deal with the insurance companies, Insurance companies are notorious for using any means to deny a claim and underpaying legitimate claims.

Insurance companies will also send out their own adjuster who works in their best interest and not yours.

I was at a claim last week where a client was denied because she filed the claim herself; she had water damage from a roof issue caused by a hurricane. After their adjuster came and inspected the damage he wrote a report that the water leak was not covered by the insurance policy.

After We got involved we were able to pinpoint the water leak was caused by issues to the roof caused by hurricane damage from as far back as IRMA, which is covered is by insurance, We were able to get her a brand new roof and cover the damages inside caused by the hurricane damage.

From working with the insurance company, their adjusters, and if need be taking care of all legal matters if a law firm is needed to get involved to fight for a denied claim.
