This verse is a declaration of freedom: when you are in Christ, your identity is completely transformed. You are not defined by your past, your mistakes, or your family history. You are new. The enemy loves to attack your identity because he knows that if you forget who you are, you won’t walk in your authority. But every time you declare God’s truth over yourself, you silence the enemy’s lies.

You are not “too broken,” “too far gone,” or “too much.” You are a new creation in Christ, and nothing can change that.
