Department of Homeland Security and Secretary Kristi Noem have announced the termination of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Syria. TPS was designed to be temporary. Since President Donald J. Trump revoked sanctions on Syria, their economy is recovering and the conditions in Syria no longer meet TPS designation requirements.
