New Kitzur Shiur Series: The Laws of Chinuch Starts Tonight!!
Kitzur Shulchan Aruch Weekday Shiur
Join Us 20 Minutes Before Mincha – 7:30 PM
Followed by Mincha/Maariv at 7:50 PM
We’re excited to begin a powerful new chapter in our Kitzur Shulchan Aruch Shiur, exploring the timeless and timely laws of Chinuch – educating and raising Jewish children.
From the very first questions—When does the obligation of Chinuch begin?—to pressing modern dilemmas like delaying punishment, forbidden acts by minors, the teacher’s role, and even identifying potentially harmful influences—this series will shed light on parenting, education, and values that shape the next generation.
Topics Include:
• The boundaries and depth of the Chinuch obligation
• Understanding when and how to intervene in a child’s actions
• Teaching Torah to one’s children and choosing the right teachers
• What to do when a child “transgresses”
• Nursing, nurturing, and the broader responsibilities of parents
• Insights into the laws and ethics of Torah educators
Relevant. Real. Rooted in Halacha.
Don’t miss this opportunity to deepen your understanding of one of the most essential mitzvos in Jewish life.
Led by Rabbi Josh Broide & Dr. Steven Oppenheimer
