Some couples pick a color palette. This one picked a mood and committed to it completely.
The rings sat in ranunculus before the gown ever left its hanger. The bridesmaids wore citrus and fuchsia instead of the usual blush. The vows happened barefoot on sand, under arches dripping in poppy orange and hot pink, with the Keys glowing gold behind them. And the reception carried that same nerve all the way through — palm-print linens, lush centerpieces, candlelight against a coastline that did half the decorating itself.
It was bold instead of safe, warm instead of muted, and it worked because they never once apologized for it.
