This session was a lesson in persistence.
We had this date set and life just kept getting in the way! We rescheduled for weather, and then we hit an unexpected speed bump when one of my little clients had a small tumble (she’s a trooper and totally fine now, but we needed to heal up first!).
Finally, we just said, “That’s it, we’re going. Rain or shine.”
And wouldn’t you know it, we got both. We started under heavy clouds, dodging raindrops and even had to huddle for a few minutes to protect ourselves. I honestly thought we were going to end with a cozy, cloudy sky and call it a day.
Then, the magic happened. For five incredible minutes, the clouds broke. The sky lit up in the most fiery, unforgettable sunset I’ve ever witnessed. It was the universe’s way of rewarding the effort, the patience, and the commitment to finally making this happen.
It’s a beautiful reminder that the most rewarding moments are often the ones you have to fight for. So grateful we finally captured this light together. Definitely worth the wait. 🌅
