I eftermiddag fick vi uppleva en stämningsfull och uppskattad sommarmusikgudstjänst!
Helene Kaufman Lundström framförde våra älskade sommarsånger. Tillsammans sjöng vi våra kära sommarpsalmer! Kyrkokören sjöng och Lennart Persson bidrog med vacker trumpetmusik!

Our annual Sommarfest, hosted in collaboration with SACC Florida, SWEA, The Swedish Church, Honorary Consulate of Sweden, and The Swedish School, is the perfect way to celebrate Swedish summer! Bring your friends and family for a fun, relaxed day filled with sunshine, great food, and the best of Swedish summer vibes.

It’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy each other’s company and make the most of the season.

⏰Events Start: 3:00 PM
🎟️Tickets: $12 (Adults 12+yo) & $6 (Kids 0-11yo)

Event info: Enjoy the festivities combining the Swedish national day, midsummer celebration and the beginning of summer break for the children. Kick off the festivities with the traditional raising of the maypole at 3:00 PM! Bring fresh flowers to help decorate the pole and embrace the spirit of our Swedish tradition.
Pack your own picnic (or pre-order smörgåstårta) and enjoy a day filled with laughter, music and community. We'll have korv med bröd (hot dogs), soda and water available for purchase on site (one hot dog ticket is included for the little ones). Plus, enjoy a delightful fika with Swedish treats! There will also be dance around the maypole, crafts (pyssel), a quiz walk (tipsrunda), tug of war (dragkamp), and a fishing game (fiskdamm) — fun activities for all ages! Fiskdamm tickets will be available on site.

Bring $$$ — cash and Zelle are the accepted methods of payment.

Raffle Tickets: We are selling raffle tickets online via Ticketleap, but raffle tickets can also be purchased in cash on site! Tickets are $5 for one or $10 for three. Don’t miss your chance to support the event and win something special!
