What I wish to feel: the mood in this image

What most people feel in FL: stress, overwhelm, fear, anxiety, a sick feeling in the pit of our stomach, the calm before the storm feels Harry Potter levels of eerie. Stomach in knots.

Should south FL feel fine? Yes. But now they issued a tornado warning for the entire bottom of the state and are blasting pictures of big scary tornadoes in our own Broward county.

To have a relatively productive day I:
- worked out
- kept protein and meals on track
- took ALL my supplements + extra turmeric to mitigate the inflammation from all of this
- made a Note on my phone. Self Care List to stay sane. And a short work list.

I wish for sunshine. I wish for peace. Like what this image evokes. But most of all I hope for minimal harm and damage for everyone in the path of this thing. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Today feels like the calm before the storm …
But the energy feels discombobulated. All over the place. Very “vata” energy as we call it in Ayurveda. 💨

The perfect antidote: grounding. 🌳

Today I did my preparations. The children and I just set the house to perfectly clean and organized. House in Order = Mind in Order today. 🧹🧼
My kids are home 6 out of the next 7 days 😳

Healthy, nourishing meals to stay grounded. 🍲
Time in nature to breathe. 🌺
Zen music to keep the house zen. 🧘🏻‍♀️

What’s about to come: unknown

Turmeric improves memory and improves neuroplasticity. Curcumin can neutralize harmful free radicals, which may help protect the brain and reduce the risk of cognitive decline and other mental health issues. Curcumin may also reduce brain inflammation, which may improve memory and mood.
